The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembly of mechanical parts. Interprets manufacturing documents to assemble or modify components and must be able to read the assembly drawings.
Accurately interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications for each assembly
Assemble, bolt, screw, clip, solder, or otherwise fasten parts, machined parts, and components together using hand or power tools, or other equipment
Connect cables, tubes, and wires to complete assemblies
Test and verify completed work
Operate necessary hand and power tools as required.
Work on other electrical projects as required.
Meet physical job requirements such as continuous standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
Familiarity with industry standard electrical/mechanical/electric assembly practices
Exceptional communication (written & verbal in the English language) and interpersonal skills
WHIMS certification preferred
