The Chief Financial
Officer (CFO) is a pivotal position responsible for financial operations within Atikameksheng Anishnawbek. You will be the senior financial authority, guiding financial planning and analysis while advising the Chief Executive Officer and Council. This role demands extensive experience in accounting and financial administration in either public sector or First Nation settings. Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and analysis processes
Monitor cash flow for operational sustainability
Ensure timely financial reporting for stakeholders
Maintain compliance with relevant financial legislation
Consolidate departmental budgets into annual organization budget Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA or CAFM designation preferred
Five years of managerial and accounting experience
Knowledge of public sector financial administration
