We're looking for an experienced Chef to lead kitchen operations at Torngat Mountains Base Camp through the remainder of the season, wrapping up September 2026. You'll plan and prepare meals for guests and staff, manage food inventory and ordering logistics in a remote setting, and maintain high standards of food safety in a camp kitchen setting. What You'll Do

Plan and execute daily menus for guests and staff, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences

Manage kitchen inventory, food ordering, and supply logistics specific to remote camp operations

Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with NL health regulations





Supervise and support kitchen assistants/cook staff as needed

Manage food costs and waste in a remote, resupply-limited workplace

Collaborate with camp leadership on guest experience and special event meals

Adapt to variable weather, transport, and supply schedules typical of remote camp operations What You Bring

Proven experience as a Chef or Head Cook, ideally in a remote, camp, or lodge setting

Red Seal certification or equivalent culinary training/experience (asset)

Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)

Comfort working and living in a remote wilderness location with a small team

Strong organizational skills for inventory and menu planning under supply constraints
