Responsibilities-being
Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
Implement an Emergent Curriculum
Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops

Specifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents, and co-workers.




Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
Solid collaborator and team player
Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications
Valid British Columbia ECE License
Criminal Record Check
Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
Immunizations up to date
Ability to push, pull, and lift up-to 45 pounds
