Join our agile team at The Green Pineapple today! We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Kelowna budtending team. Previous cannabis knowledge and retail experience is an asset, but a willingness to learn is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis culture, exhibit great customer service and communication skills, as well as have a strong ability to work within a team environment. Our store is located on Bernard Avenue in the beautiful downtown of Kelowna, BC. Our store’s operating hours are 9am-11pm, 7 days a week, including holidays.

Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
Provide accurate information about different strains, products, and consumption methods
Assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and potential risks of different cannabis products
Process transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system
Maintain inventory levels and ensure product displays are well-stocked and organized
Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure compliance with provincial/federal regulations
Maintains organization and cleanliness of the store




Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns

Experience:
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is highly desirable
Familiarity with computer operations and POS systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex information to customers
Cash handling experience is preferred

Job Requirements:
Minimum 19 years of age
Valid Selling it Right certification (upon hire)
Must be able to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend shifts
