Overview

We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and perform caulking tasks. As a Taper, you will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for painting, ensuring high-quality finishes, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities
Apply tape and joint compound to drywall seams and corners to create smooth surfaces for painting.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Perform caulking tasks to seal joints and gaps in walls, ceilings, and other structures.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met.




Assist with additional maintenance person tasks as needed throughout the construction process.

Requirements
Proven experience in drywall taping and carpentry is essential.
Strong knowledge of caulking techniques and materials.
Ability to read blueprints accurately.
Previous maintenance person experience is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Solid communication skills and ability to work well within a team workplace.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
