Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and perks of merchandise
Assist with merchandising tasks to ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing
Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, ensuring a professional appearance at all times
Skills
Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Previous retail sales or cashier experience, including basic math skills for quick transaction processing
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for remote inquiries or follow-ups
Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products enhances your ability to assist customers confidently
Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising standards
Exceptional time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising service quality
Organizational skills to keep the checkout area tidy and manage multiple tasks seamlessly
