Responsibilities
Manage and record all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel and Word
Perform credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy across bank statements and internal records
Handle accounts payable efficiently and accurately
Assist with overflow of Invoicing, recording payments and tracking outstanding balances.
Assist with escalated collections on overdue accounts and support payment resolution
HST/GST filings:



ensuring tax is recorded correctly and assisting with periodic remittances.
Assist with month-end
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel and Word is essential
Robust understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable/receivable and account reconciliation
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data accurately
Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures and account analysis techniques
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities efficiently
3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles is required
