Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance department. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day bookkeeping operations, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Responsibilities
Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial transactions using Sage 50 accounting software.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes by processing invoices, payments, and collections
Reconcile bank statements account balances regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
Reconcile credit card statements and post entries in Sage
Support payroll processing by verifying timesheets and employee data in payroll systems
Conduct account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures




Maintain organized records of all financial documents, receipts, and transaction logs for audit readiness
Answering the phone and directing the call to the correct department

Skills
Proficiency with Sage software, Excel, Word
Robust understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors
Eagerness to learn new accounting tools and expand technical expertise in finance operations
