Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenters Assistant to join our energetic construction team.

In this role, you will support skilled carpenters, willingness to learn will contribute significantly to our projects’ success. This position offers an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in multiple facets of carpentry and construction work.

Responsibilities
put together building packages at the warehouse, and deliver them to field crews.
marterial pick up from suppliers
Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools
help with installing building components, wall sheathing, studs, headers, tyvek, roofing underlayment, insulation, vapor barrier.
Participate in installation such as siding, roofing, and door/window
material handling,



and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
class 5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract.
reliable transportation to and from work
experience towing medium sized trailers as asset
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
Prior construction experience or handyman experience is preferred but not mandatory; a solid willingness to learn is essential
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking on job sites
ability to retain new information, and fast learning is mandatory

Pay: $17.50-$22.00 per hour
