Description:

Innhouse Group of companies is seeking a reliable and well-organized person to serve as full cycle accountant at our

Vancouver office. The applicant must be able to handle day-to-day bookkeeping transactions and oversee some office administration tasks. Experience in retail and property management accounting is preferred.

Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

*Communicate with managers regarding invoice discrepancies and/or payment inquiries

*Follow-up with authorized approvers on invoices that require approval for payment
Maintaining daily cash and credit card balances worksheet
Performing weekly credit card reconciliations
Updating and maintaining the general ledger
Performing monthly bank reconciliations
Recording monthly sales and expenses
Preparing and posting monthly adjusting journal entries

*Preparing and processing GST, PST and WCB remittances
Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements

*Any other office administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements




One year full cycle accounting experience

*Experience in Simply Accounting

*Ability to take initiative with excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities

*Proficiency with MS Word and Excel

*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a solid sense of urgency

*Skilled and able to work independently

Starting salary: $50,000 (based on experience)
