Growing together.As a Senior Project Program Manager, you'll be engaged in a complex business model that is highly adaptable to build solutions that meet their customer needs in a competitive and effective way.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within Canada (except for the Saskatchewan province) as you take on some tough challenges.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead or help develop program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.G. program/project charter, Statement of Work, etc.)Identify project duration, effort, sequence and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectivesWork with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project executionDevelop/contribute to project budgets: collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.G. labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sourcesEstablish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods, with stakeholder input (e.G. key performance indicators, scope definition)Drive execution and accountability of team members in order to achieve program or project milestones performance objectives and goalsDevelop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.G. mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectivesRaise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of project scope and objectives with applicable stakeholdersApply project life cycle methodology and tools as you develop, document and implement project plansResponsible/accountable for end-to-end execution of assigned projectsMonitor, track, document,
and report implementation status and performanceAssist in the transition of the client from project implementation to support/sustainment and ensure all contracted project deliverables are completed & archivedLead and conduct required business stakeholder discussions and meetings, employing excellent communication and presentation skillsPrepare for and conduct presentations, kick off meetings, status updates, client acceptance meetings, etc., including appropriate agendas and meeting recapsWork closely with internal and shared services to identify and resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframesCommunicate effectively and gains stakeholder trust by facilitating discussions, working collaboratively, setting expectations, acting responsively, and completing deliverablesThis role will challenge your ability to work on complex projects where deadlines and scope shift frequently. Visio)Experience in Management of large-scale project teams (in excess of 30 team members)Experience with creating project documentation including Charter, Statement of Work, Communication Plan, Testing Plan, Go-Live, and On-Going SupportManage project/program budgets including developing the budgets, tracking spend, producing burn-down charts and collaborating with FinancePreferred QualificationsPMP Certification or equivalentProsci change management certification or equivalentDemonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and to facilitate meetingsDemonstrated time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple prioritiesDemonstrated ability to manage work with limited directionDemonstrated superb group facilitation skills, with ability to handle emotions, conflicts and "crucial conversations" in a public settingAll employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Canada Residents Only: The salary range for Canada residents is $102,000 to $211,800 annually.
