Production Assistant - Locations in Mississauga & Brampton

Our client is a growing manufacturing company with a focus on precision and quality in sheet metal production. They are seeking a motivated Production Assistant to support their team in operating equipment, assembling components, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced workplace. This role offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop skills in a team-oriented workplace.

Responsibilities
Operate sheet metal machinery, including deburring, polishing, and forming equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and technical documents to guide production tasks.
Assemble metal parts and structural components using tools like dowel pins, wedges, and jacks.
Perform layout tasks for sheet metal patterns and ensure accurate alignment of components.
Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed and participate in training programs to enhance skills.

Qualifications




1+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly role.
Ability to read and follow safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
Strong attention to detail.
Solid math and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and solve basic production challenges.
Available to work rotating shifts (days and afternoons).
Able to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift.
