Karl's Truck Service is seeking a skilled and versatile Truck and Coach Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and technical expertise, with experience working on heavy and mid-size duty vehicles. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy diesel trucks, mid-size trucks and trailers to ensure optimal operation and safety.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, annual safety inspections and repairs on heavy trucks, mid-size trucks, trailers, etc.
Perform emission testing through DriveON.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools effectively
Read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, to identify issues and execute repairs




Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all operations

Skills
Proven experience with heavy truck repair preferred
Valid 310T License with a minimum 5 yrs experience
DriveON experience.
Solid mechanical knowledge
Hands-on experience with Detroit, CAT, Paccar, Cummins, Transmissions, Air Systems, power tools, hand tools, welding techniques, and electrical systems
Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues
Robust communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
