We currently have a position available for a Dock Worker in our Grande Prairie location. Shifts are Tuesday to Saturday, 2am – 10:30am.

Willy’s Trucking offers daily and weekly freight services north of HWY 16 in Alberta and B.C. We build relationships with businesses that have local decision making and we specialize in mid/last mile delivery. Our commitment to you is to always deliver on time and offer competitive pricing.

We operate out of Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Peace River and Fort St. John!

Responsibilities:
Responsible for secure loading and unloading of freight from transport trucks.
Inspect shipments for proper quantity and damaged products. Report damages to the dock supervisor.
Handle all shipments efficiently and effectively.
Verify manifests and report any errors.
Provide cross dock assistance to drivers.
Interact with customers in a professional manner.
Have a positive attitude, be willing to learn and be able to deliver outstanding customer service.




Have excellent time management and organization skills.
Be able to work independently and take direction as needed.

Qualifications:
Must have a valid Class 5 License
Class 1 License is preferred but not mandatory
1 – 2 years warehouse experience, preferred
Shipping & receiving experience
Must have Forklift / Loader experience
Exceptional customer service
Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing workplace
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 per hour
