Evergreen Tennis is a growing tennis program based in Markham, Ontario.
We believe tennis is more than learning technique. We create a positive, supportive, and enjoyable environment where children can build confidence, develop athletic skills, and discover a lifelong love for the game.
We’re looking for a coach who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact through sport.
Responsibilities
Coach children and junior tennis lessons (private and small groups)
Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment
Help students build confidence and develop proper tennis fundamentals
Communicate professionally with parents when needed
Arrive on time and maintain a positive attitude
Support Evergreen’s teaching philosophy and coaching standards
Qualifications We’re looking for someone who is:
Passionate about working with children
Friendly, patient, and dependable
Able to communicate confidently in English
Previous coaching experience is preferred
Tennis Canada, PTR or other coaching certifications are an asset
First Aid / CPR certification is an asset
Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is considered an asset.
Compensation CA$30–45 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, certifications, and coaching responsibilities.
