We are seeking a friendly and efficient Pizza Maker/Cashier to join our team. This role combines the art of preparing delicious pizzas with providing excellent customer service at the front counter. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas following established recipes and quality standards
Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
Take customer orders accurately at the cash register and process transactions promptly
Serve customers with a friendly attitude, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations during shifts
Assist in cleaning and sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly
Skills
Must be Permanent Resident of Canada and Canadian Citizen
Minimum 2 to 3 years of Experience in serving or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or pizza shop setting
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Robust understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
Ability to operate cash registers and handle monetary transactions accurately
Kitchen experience including familiarity with pizza-making equipment is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and reliability are essential for success in this role
