Duties
Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese delicacies with precision and artistry
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in all food preparation areas
Select fresh ingredients daily and ensure proper storage to preserve quality and freshness
Create visually appealing sushi presentations that enhance the dining experience
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines consistently for quality assurance




Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying management of supply needs

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a fast-paced culinary environment
Classroom experience or formal training in Japanese cuisine or sushi preparation preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in ingredient preparation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
Passion for Japanese cuisine and culinary innovation
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
