Job Description: Welding of custom steel & stainless-steel fabrications, operating shop equipment such as grinders, hand torches/plasmas etc. and being familiar with general steel manufacturing practices.
Experience:
· Carbon Steel Welding required (min 5 years)
· Stainless Steel Welding required (min 5 years)
· Current and Transferable CWB tickets an asset
· Ability to bend, crouch, and lift items up to 50 lbs require
· Must have the ability to work with others as well as independently
· Positive attitude and willingness to Learn
· Mechanically inclined
WORKING CONDITIONS - Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing facility. Work will involve moderate lifting of materials and products. Working in this workplace requires the use of safety equipment which includes but is not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, and CSA Approved Safety Shoes. Workdays are Monday to Friday 7:30 am – to 4:00 pm with two 15-minute breaks and one ½-hour lunch. Overtime after 4:00 pm and on Saturdays available based on workload.
