The Agile, Scrum Master candidate will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring they are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.

Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.

Act as a servant-leader for the Scrum Team, helping to remove impediments and protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions.

Utilize Jira and other Agile project management tools to track team progress, manage backlogs, and provide key metrics and reports on team performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master role for a software development team.

Valid Scrum Master certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM),



Qualified Scrum Master (PSM)).

Extensive, hands-on knowledge and experience with Jira for Agile project management.

Expert-level understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Proven experience in coaching teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Scrum certifications (e.g., A-CSM, PSM II).

Experience in a technical role (e.g., developer, QA) prior to becoming a Scrum Master.

Experience with other Agile tools like Confluence.

This start as a contract role but the candidate must be open to be converted to permanent.

Work is Hybrid (3 days on side).
