Job Summary

Duties
Prepare a wide range of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and specialty desserts with precision and flair
Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques such as piping, icing, and fondant to create visually appealing products
Follow established recipes and adjust ingredients as needed to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
Package baked items carefully for retail display or takeout orders, ensuring freshness and presentation are preserved
Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling products




Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders while upholding excellent customer service standards

Qualifications
Prior experience in a bakery, pastry shop, or restaurant environment is highly preferred
Strong skills in cake decorating, food handling, and baking techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
Familiarity with food industry standards for quality control and packaging processes
Kitchen experience involving food preparation, cooking, and presentation is essential
