Lead intermodal operations as the Assistant General Manager with CPKC in Vaughan, Ontario. This role focuses on safety, cost management, and driving continuous operational improvement. In this pivotal role, you will oversee both Intermodal and Automotive Operations, reporting directly to the Vice President.
You will handle operational challenges, ensure effective resource use, and promote a culture of accountability and development among teams. Your strategic leadership will be essential in achieving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee development and execution of operational policies
Conduct capacity planning for staffing and resources
Negotiate vendor contracts to meet operational needs
Lead safety initiatives across terminal operations
Manage budgets and assess operational variances Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Over 10 years in progressive transportation leadership
Valid driver's license and passport for travel
Proficient in negotiation and stakeholder engagement
