Barcelos Flame Grilled Chicken is seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, possess a solid understanding of kitchen operations, and adhere to food safety standards. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting with meal preparation, ensuring quality dishes are served promptly to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ensure all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely
Collaborate with kitchen team members to uphold high-quality standards
Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Adhere to all food safety regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role
Knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of kitchen operations
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Certification in food handling is a plus
