Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Batcher for our Food Production team to ensure the efficient and accurate preparation of food products in a manufacturing environment. The Batcher will be responsible for measuring, mixing, and preparing ingredients according to specified recipes and safety standards. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality production processes, adhering to food safety regulations, and supporting overall manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess robust mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to sanitation and food safety practices.

Duties
Accurately measure and combine ingredients following established recipes and production guidelines.
Operate packaging equipment to prepare finished products for distribution.
Use forklifts safely to transport raw materials and finished goods within the facility.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
Monitor production lines for quality control issues and report discrepancies promptly.
Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
Keep detailed records of batch processes, ingredient usage, and quality checks.




Assist with inventory management by tracking raw materials and packaging supplies.
Follow all safety protocols related to food processing, machinery operation, and forklift use.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while ensuring product integrity.

Experience
Previous experience in a food industry manufacturing or processing setting is preferred.
Knowledge of packaging techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.
Familiarity with forklift operation and safety procedures is desirable.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems relevant to manufacturing equipment.
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and recipe adjustments.
Understanding of sanitation standards and food safety regulations such as HACCP or GMP.
Prior experience working in a fast-paced production setting is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
