Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to safely excavate and expose underground utilities without causing damage. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols while performing excavation tasks.

Duties
Operate hydrovac equipment to perform protected excavation, exposing underground utilities and structures.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure protected operation.
Collaborate with crew members to plan and execute excavation projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including site conditions and any issues encountered.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and minor repairs.
Assist with other heavy equipment operations as needed,



including backhoe operation, bulldozing, grading, and paving.

Experience
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with hydrovac trucks.
Familiarity with backhoe operation, horizontal drilling, grading, and other excavation techniques is highly desirable.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred for operating company vehicles.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in all work activities.
