Flashback Breakfast & Lunch is a busy, retro-style breakfast & lunch restaurant in Midland , Ontario. We are a fast-paced and growing establishment looking for a full time or part-time Kitchen Staff/Cook to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast items (eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, breakfast meats, etc.) in a timely and consistent manner
Assist with food preparation including chopping, portioning, and meal assembly
Ensure all meals meet presentation and quality standards before serving
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation at all times
Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts
Work closely with serving staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly
Follow all restaurant policies regarding safety, cleanliness,
and food safety regulations.
Requirements & Experience
Previous breakfast cooking experience is required
Solid knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and timing
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Organized, punctual, and detail-oriented
Passion for delivering high-quality food and maintaining clean workspaces
Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
