Casey Realty Limited is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and works well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Load, unload, and transport construction materials
Perform pre-operational inspections on tools and equipment
Read blueprints and determine work requirements
Assist with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
Perform routine maintenance and construction support tasks
Operate or assist with machines and equipment used in construction
Maintain a clean and protected job site
Equipment & Tools Used
Experience with the following tools and equipment is an asset:
Reciprocating saws
Air compressors
Air guns and nail guns
Drills
Forklift
Hand tools
Requirements
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Previous construction experience is an asset
Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Steel-toed safety boots required
Criminal record check required
Work Environment
Residential construction sites
Noisy and dusty conditions
