With 10 branches in Eastern Canada, the Toronto branch is seeking a driven, hard-working individual to join our team in the position of CYLINDER HEAD TECHNICIAN - MACHINE SHOP, HEAVY DUTY ENGINE

Job summary
Cleaning, magnafluxing and pressure testing heads;
Cutting and replacing valve seats;
Replacing various styles of valve guides;
Resurfacing;
Repairing threaded holes;
Replace various styles of injector cups;

Significant: This description is not exhaustive, as the employee may be assigned any other related tasks necessary for the execution of their duties.

Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years work experience in similar duties is mandatory.
A combination of relevant experience and knowledge may be considered.

Requirements
Ability to read and interpret specs provided;
Ability to diagnose head failures;
Able to operate lathes, drill presses, welders and overhead cranes;
Will be trained on our computer systems;
Autonomy and judgment.





Working conditions

Salary : Competitive salary to be determined, based on experience
