Sun Transportation Systems is seeking Truck Technicians/ Maintenance Mechanics to join our team at the Maintenance Facility in Bolton, ON.
Test drives and test instruments, such as pressure gauges, motor Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problem using re-analyzers, and other equipment as needed
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, etc. all on medium and heavy-duty trucks
Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components
Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most productive and cost-effective manner available
Perform all tasks according to STS safety procedures
Perform all aspects of preventive maintenance on vehicles as trained
Maintain work area appearance and safety




Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Duties include: Services, repairs.

Must be available on weekends and nights.

The candidate must be able to meet the following minimum requirements;
310-T certified Preferred
Physically fit, with the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis.
Must maintain a G Driver’s Licence
Able to work independently, be reliable, and self-driven
Must have steel toe boots
All other Personal Protective Equipment will be provided
