Key Responsibilities:
Assistant Duties:
Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient handling, restraint, and care
Assist veterinarians in exam rooms
Clean and sanitize exam rooms and equipment
Monitor and record patient information and vitals
Prepare medications and assist with laboratory tests (as trained)
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic
Reception Duties:
Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communications
Process payments and maintain accurate client records
Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries with care and efficiency
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a veterinary setting is required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Comfort working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
Basic computer skills and familiarity with veterinary software a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required
