Stadek Clinic in Eagle Ridge Fort McMurray is currently seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join our very busy medical office. THIS POSITION IS A CASUAL/PART-TIME. The successful candidate for this position must be available all days of the week (SUNDAY to SATURDAY) and is responsible for helping patients feel welcome and comfortable, and must be able to multi-task effectively. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, skilled and has experience working in a medical office. DRIVING SKILL REQUIRED.

Duties include, but not limited to:
KNOWLEDGE IN MEDACCESS EMR SOFTWARE REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL CLINIC REQUIRED
Must be computer savvy
Diploma/Certificate in Medical Assisting/Terminology preferred
Schedule appointments for patients and physicians.
Assist with billing and coding tasks
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with OIPC regulations and health information management standards
Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately




Take vital signs of patients.
Sterilize medical equipment.
Fax documents to other facilities.
Maintain medical records of patients.
Manage inventory of medical supplies and medication
Greet patients and update files.
Prepare exam rooms.
Assist doctors in minor procedures
Clean the entire clinic
Keep the confidentiality of patients' files
Carry out a range of other duties that keep the medical office operating smoothly.
