Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate favorable terms
Review project plans and specifications thoroughly to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline scope of work, pricing, and assumptions
Assist in project management activities by tracking costs, updating estimates as needed,
and ensuring alignment with project budgets
Maintain organized records of all estimating documents, correspondence, and revisions for future reference
Requirements
Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology
