Security Guard

This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations. We are expanding our sites in General Duties, Healthcare, Campus, Industrial, Mobile, Events in Cranbrook, Sparwood, Elkford, Fernie, anywhere in the East Kootenay Region.

Responsibilities




Provide a visible security presence and maintain a secure environment
Patrol premises, monitor access control, and report irregularities
Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents with professionalism
Enforce site rules, regulations, and safety procedures
Complete detailed and accurate daily reports
Deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and the public

Qualifications
Valid BC Security License
Basic Occupational First Aid Training is an asset
Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle is an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and qualified in high-pressure situations
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Previous security or customer service experience is an asset
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
