Protrans Personnel Services Inc is hiring for Full Time Production Assistant position in Belleville area (Ontario).
The Production Assistant provides assistance and support in the Converting and Printing Departments as directed by the Plant Supervisor.

Shift Timings Available:
Morning- 6:30am to 2:30pm
Afternoon- 2:30pm to10:30pm
Night- 10:30pm to 6:30am

Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists senior Converting and Press personnel as directed.
Monitors quality as required
Prepares packaging materials; stages various production consumables
Conducts and documents inspections and testing according to quality plans
racks production quantities and scrap; weighs all outputs
Discards scrap; operates baler
Enters production data in computer and completes paperwork as required
Ensures product is wrapped and labeled correctly
Supports Pre-press activities with supervised assistance in Pre-press area as needed.
Supports Converting and Printing department with supervised back-up duties as required.
Assists in wash-up area as required.




Operates Forklift as required
Transfers relevant information to the next shift, as required
Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned, assists with PM activities
Performs general housekeeping duties, as required

Must have a demonstrated solid attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy; detail- oriented
Must have ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and efficiently
Must have robust organizational skills.
Must have positive documentation skills.
Must have ability and willingness to work scheduled rotating shifts.
Must have ability to lift items of 40 lbs. and perform duties involving repetitive stretching motions, stair and ladder climbing, and standing.
REQUIREMENTS:
Complete testing per WIN_0096 – General Hiring Practice Guidelines.
Secondary school (High School) diploma, or equivalent.
