Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cook/Cashier. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective and friendly interactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cashiering, and food handling, with a solid emphasis on sanitation and food safety standards. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
Handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen and dining space




Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required
Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are desirable
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
