We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. (2nd year - Journeymen) The ideal candidate will possess robust mechanical and electrical expertise, with a focus on maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and agricultural equipment. This role requires a positive approach to troubleshooting and daily operations. Preventive maintenance and ensuring optimal operation of equipment & trucks are critical to the position. Candidates should have experience with agricultural equipment or trucking fleets. (Class 1 or 3 is a strong asset but not required). Strong focus on teamwork and keeping operations moving. Ability to work extended hours & some weekends. Self-starter who can work independently in field/team environments.
Duties
Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment & trucks daily.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Maintain and repair systems involving low-voltage controls and electrical components.
Operate and calibrate equipment in compliance with safety standards.
Document all maintenance activities accurately and efficiently.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
Skills
Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (including low voltage)
Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
Mechanical ability with hydraulics, electrical, and diesel systems.
Strong understanding of equipment operation.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service within internal departments.
Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop effective solutions under pressure.
Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial environments is essential.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
