Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our non-corporate dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. This role offers an chance to work in a friendly workplace with a focus on patient comfort and well-being . The Dental Hygienist will collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective dental services.

Duties
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide oral health education and personalized care instructions to patients
Assist in patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and documenting findings using dental software such as Dentrix
Support the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain infection control protocols and sterilize dental instruments
Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations




Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience

Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred
Proficiency with Power Practice or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
Solid understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
