Responsibilities
Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing
Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal results
Fold, package, and organize clean laundry for distribution to various hotel departments or guest rooms
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents, requesting replenishments as needed
Assist with general cleaning duties in the laundry area to uphold a safe and sanitary setting
Follow established procedures for stain removal and special handling of delicate or valuable items
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel laundry services or similar cleaning roles is highly preferred
Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
