Our client in the south Etobicoke area is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Walkie Operator to join their team team.

Shift: Monday to Friday 6am-230pm

Must be able to work in a cold environment with meat products

Please note 70% of the time you will be doing GL/Production duties and 30% Forklift

Duties
Keep the production cooler organized and clean
Manage stock rotation and move products from tempering/freezing
Use the Walkie to transport and pick materials within the facility
Verify product conditions and expiration codes
Accurately document inventory and shipping transactions
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts
Assist with packing, wrapping and labelling products
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Previous shipping/receiving experience




Minimum 2 years of experience operating the Walkie
Must have previous experience working in a cold setting and/or meat facility
Must have a valid forklift licence
Must be able to work in a cold environment
Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing tasks

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
