We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. This role is essential for ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering quality service to our customers. The Kitchen Helper will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to uphold food safety standards and assist in various kitchen tasks.

Duties
Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring timely service
Help with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety
Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing supplies for cooking
Support serving staff by providing prepared food items and ensuring proper presentation
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts




Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Follow all food safety guidelines and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations

Qualifications
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation preferred
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous but not required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining quality
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to learn new skills related to food handling and kitchen operations
Ability to work flexible schedule as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
