Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive to the restaurant
Escort guests to their tables or waiting areas
Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
Take and manage reservations via the POS system
Manage the waiting list and notify guests when their table is ready
Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Answer phone calls and provide information to guests
Assist with seating arrangements to ensure productive use of dining space
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members in English and French
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced workplace
Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with composure
Basic knowledge of POS systems and reservation management software is preferred
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
