Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ice Technician/Zamboni Driver to maintain and operate ice resurfacing equipment at our facility. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality ice surfaces for skating, hockey, and other recreational activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, experience with maintenance, and the ability to work independently in a rapid-paced setting. A background in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, HVAC systems, or appliance repair is highly desirable to support the upkeep of ice-making equipment and facility infrastructure.

Duties
Operate Zamboni and other ice resurfacing machines safely and efficiently to maintain optimal ice conditions.
Perform routine maintenance on ice-making and refrigeration equipment, including boilers, HVAC systems, and mechanical components.
Conduct inspections of the ice surface and underlying systems to identify potential issues or safety hazards.




Repair and troubleshoot mechanical problems using schematics, mechanical knowledge, and construction experience.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and quick resolution of technical issues.

Experience
Prior experience operating Zamboni or similar ice resurfacing equipment is preferred.
Previous work as a mechanic or in facility maintenance roles will be considered a robust asset.
Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
