Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing essential assistance and support to individuals within the community, promoting their well-being, independence, and integration. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote mental health and well-being
Help clients access community resources, healthcare services, and social activities
Monitor clients’ progress and report any concerns or changes to supervisors or healthcare specialists
Support clients in developing life skills to foster independence
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client interactions
Collaborate with team members, family members,



and other service providers to coordinate care plans
Ensure a safe and respectful workplace for all clients during interactions

Skills
Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good organizational skills for managing multiple client needs and documentation
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and client requirements
Basic knowledge of community resources and social services is a plus
Prior experience in social work, healthcare, or related fields is desirable but not required
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
