Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will possess solid mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components with precision and care
Lift heavy parts or equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols
Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines





Skills
Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or maintenance tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Customer service orientation with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
Experience with vehicle assembly and disassembly processes
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle systems
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Certification: Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson Ticket / Red Seal Endorsement (or Registered 3rd/4th Year Apprentice).

This position is integral to maintaining the high standards of our service department by ensuring vehicles are repaired accurately and efficiently while providing outstanding customer care.

Pay: $23.84-$35.00 per hour
