The Surly Mermaid, a vibrant and busy restaurant in the beautiful Sidney by the sea is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced bar/restaurant workplace and possesses excellent cocktail knowledge.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages to customers
Ensure all beverages are consistently prepared and presented to our standards
Maintain a clean and organized bar area and ensure inventory is stocked
Engage with customers in a friendly and skilled manner
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu offerings, including ingredients and allergens

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in a busy bar/restaurant environment
Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages
Strong communication and customer service skills




Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
