Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food handling or the food industry. This position offers an chance to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences.
Weekend availability is required (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Early morning shifts

Duties
Greet guests warmly and assist with their breakfast needs
Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established standards, including food presentation and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations
Replenish food supplies and ensure all items are stocked throughout service hours
Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling and storage of food products
Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast service area before and after shifts
Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience




Collaborate with team members to ensure productive operation during busy hours

Skills
Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, qualified demeanor
Experience in serving, food preparation, or food handling is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Barista experience or hospitality background is a plus but not required
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a positive attitude
Valid Food Handler Certificate is required.
Smart Serve Certification is considered an asset.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
