About Us

Gary D Trucking is a Calgary-based gravel and aggregate hauling company operating a fleet of dump trucks (tandems, pups, quads, and B-trains). We serve the construction and infrastructure industry across the Calgary region and surrounding areas. We are a hands-on, growing operation focused on reliable service, safety, and effective operations.

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to handle all invoicing and basic bookkeeping on a part time/seasonal basis. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable with numbers, and can work independently for a few hours each weekday.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and send customer invoices accurately and on time
Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
Enter and organize expenses, receipts, and supplier invoices
Maintain basic bookkeeping records (income, expenses, payments)




Reconcile simple accounts and keep financial records up to date
Assist with basic administrative tasks related to billing and paperwork as needed

Requirements
Previous experience with invoicing and/or bookkeeping preferred
Comfortable using QuickBooks, Excel, or similar software
Robust attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
Good communication skills
Available Monday to Friday for 3–4 hours per day (flexible start/end times within regular business hours)
