Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machine Operator specializing in Waterjet cutting in a METAL INDUSTRY! In this energetic role, you will operate and maintain high-precision waterjet cutting machines to produce complex metal and composite parts. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and passion for manufacturing will drive efficiency and quality in our production processes. Duties
Set up and operate Waterjet CNC machines, ensuring exact cuts according to detailed blueprints and CAD drawings
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine proper machine settings and tooling requirements
Program CNC Waterjet machines using Fanuc controls or similar systems, optimizing cutting parameters for quality and efficiency
Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on waterjet equipment to ensure optimal performance
Use hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills to verify dimensions and inspect finished parts for accuracy




Maintain a clean and protected work environment by following all safety protocols related to machining and waterjet operations
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and support continuous improvement initiatives like lean manufacturing practices

Experience
Prior experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines or CNC lathes is highly desirable
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files (SolidWorks or similar software)
Familiarity with CNC programming languages and systems, particularly Fanuc controls
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, assembly, and use of power tools
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; experience with calipers is a plus
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, forklifts (certification preferred), and follow safety guidelines
Experience in lean manufacturing environments is advantageous but not required
