Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Mechanic Helper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building a career in the automotive industry and already has at least 1 year of hands-on experience in vehicle service and repair. The ideal candidate will assist technicians with day-to-day maintenance tasks while continuing to learn and grow in a fast-paced shop environment.
We are more than happy to sign the right candidate as an apprentice and support their journey toward becoming a licensed technician.
Key Responsibilities
Assist technicians with routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and basic repairs
Support in diagnosing issues by observing and reporting symptoms to senior technicians
Gather and organize tools, parts, and equipment needed for repairs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Follow all workplace safety standards and company procedures
Learn and assist with more advanced repairs under supervision
Handle basic shop duties and support overall workflow efficiency
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in automotive service and repair
Strong interest in pursuing a long-term automotive career
Basic knowledge of automotive systems
Willingness to learn and grow in a quick-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift automotive parts
Additional Information
