We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stone Countertop Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and installing high-quality stone countertops in residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision craftsmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure precise countertop placement.
Measure spaces accurately and cut stone slabs using hand tools and power equipment to fit designated areas.
Install countertops securely, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finishing touches for a polished look.
Use caulking and sealing techniques to prevent water infiltration and enhance durability of installations.
Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris, dust, and excess materials during and after installation.
Collaborate with team members on restoration projects or custom modifications as needed.
Follow safety protocols diligently, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools.
Skills
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, grinders, chisels, and polishing pads used in stone installation.
Construction experience with a focus on countertop installation.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing countertops effectively.
